SteelForge — Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Introduction
SteelForge is an AI-powered hobby project that generates Minecraft-related builds from text prompts and images.
This policy explains how refund requests are handled for any paid features offered by SteelForge.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under Dutch or European law.
2. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
Consumers purchasing online services or digital content may have a statutory withdrawal period, commonly 14 days, subject to the applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
The rules depend on whether the purchase concerns digital content, a digital service, or another type of agreement.
For digital content supplied immediately, the right of withdrawal may be lost only where the applicable statutory conditions have been met, including the required prior express consent and acknowledgement.
For digital services, separate rules apply. Starting a service does not automatically eliminate every withdrawal right.
Where required, SteelForge will provide the necessary information and obtain the required consent or acknowledgement before supplying digital content or starting performance.
You can exercise any applicable withdrawal right by contacting [email protected] or using the applicable online cancellation or withdrawal function provided by SteelForge.
3. Voluntary Refunds
SteelForge may offer a voluntary refund guarantee for specific paid products.
If such a guarantee is offered, its price, eligibility conditions, usage limits, and time limits will be clearly displayed before purchase.
Unless a specific guarantee is expressly offered, no additional voluntary money-back guarantee is promised by this policy.
Credits: before paying, you are asked to agree that the credits are delivered immediately and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the credits have been delivered. Credits for a failed build are always returned to your account automatically.
A voluntary guarantee never replaces or restricts statutory consumer rights.
4. Technical Problems
If a paid feature fails to work as agreed, contact us at [email protected].
Please include the purchase date, the product purchased, and a brief description of the problem.
We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, attempt to restore the service or provide another suitable solution.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to repair or correction, a price reduction, termination of the agreement, or a refund.
If SteelForge is unavailable for a significant period, we will assess the situation and any applicable refund or other legal obligations.
5. Refund Requests
To request a refund, email:
[email protected]
Please include, where available:
- The email address used for the purchase.
- The purchase date.
- The product, credit package, or subscription purchased.
- An order number or transaction reference.
- A short description of the issue, if relevant.
You do not have to provide a reason when exercising a statutory withdrawal right that does not require one.
You do not need to join our Discord server to exercise a statutory right.
6. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due or approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
We aim to process approved refunds promptly. Any estimated processing time displayed by SteelForge is an estimate and does not replace statutory deadlines.
The time it takes for funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or bank.
7. Fraud and Abuse
We may investigate evidence of fraud or deliberate abuse of a voluntary refund guarantee.
Any refusal under a voluntary guarantee will be assessed on the facts and will not automatically remove statutory consumer rights.
