SteelForge — Terms & Conditions

1. About SteelForge

SteelForge is an AI-powered hobby project that helps users generate Minecraft-related builds from text prompts, images, or both.

SteelForge is currently operated as a personal project. This description does not determine whether registration or other legal obligations apply under the law.

Where required by law, the operator's legal identity and additional contact details will be provided here.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SteelForge.

By using the service, you agree to follow the rules that lawfully apply to your use. Any additional terms for paid products will be displayed before purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.

3. The Service

SteelForge generates Minecraft-related build plans and digital structure files based on user prompts and reference images.

Available features may include text-based generation, image-based generation, previews, and downloadable schematic files.

AI-generated results may contain mistakes, unexpected materials, incomplete structures, or compatibility issues.

We do not guarantee that every generated build will match a reference perfectly or work flawlessly in every Minecraft version or third-party tool.

4. User-Provided Content

You are responsible for the text, images, and other materials you submit.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit those materials and request their processing.

Do not upload content that unlawfully infringes another person's rights or contains personal information you have no right to share.

You retain any rights you have in your submitted content. You permit SteelForge to process that content as reasonably necessary to provide the generation service.

5. AI-Generated Results

AI-generated results may not be unique and may resemble other builds or designs.

To the extent SteelForge has the necessary rights, you may use generated results for lawful purposes, subject to applicable law and the rights of third parties.

SteelForge does not guarantee that every result is eligible for copyright protection or that you will receive exclusive rights to it.

You are responsible for checking that your use of a generated result is lawful.

6. Intellectual Property

SteelForge's own software, branding, website design, and original materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of SteelForge's intellectual property to you.

Minecraft and associated names, assets, and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. SteelForge is an independent project and is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft.

SteelForge is NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT OR SERVICE and is NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT.

You must not use SteelForge to unlawfully reproduce, distribute, or exploit materials belonging to others.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We may take proportionate action against verified abuse, subject to applicable law.

8. Paid Features, Credits, and Payments

Some features may be offered for a fee.

Before a paid purchase, SteelForge will display the applicable price, what is included, any usage limits, and any relevant expiry or renewal conditions.

Builds cost credits. The price of a build is shown on the Generate button before you start: up to 32³ blocks 50 credits, up to 64³ 75, up to 96³ 125, up to 128³ 200, "Auto" size 75; editing an existing build costs half of its original price. A build that fails costs nothing: the reserved credits are returned automatically. New accounts receive 75 free welcome credits once. Credits are bought in one-off packs (no subscription), are added to your account only after PayPal has confirmed the payment, have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not exchanged for money except where required by law or under the Refund Policy. Credits do not expire while SteelForge is offered.

Payments are processed by PayPal and are also subject to PayPal's terms.

Accounts must not be created in bulk to collect welcome credits. We may correct credits that were obtained through errors or abuse.

9. Subscriptions and Cancellation

If subscriptions are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed before purchase.

You may cancel according to the instructions provided for your subscription.

Cancellation of a subscription generally prevents future renewals from the applicable effective date. It does not automatically create a right to a refund for a period already started, subject to your statutory rights and any applicable refund guarantee.

Any statutory withdrawal or online cancellation rights remain unaffected.

10. Refunds and Withdrawal

Refund requests are handled under the SteelForge Refund & Cancellation Policy, available at the Refund Policy page.

Consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights for online purchases. The applicable rules depend on the nature of the product or service and the circumstances of the purchase.

Where the law requires particular information, express consent, or acknowledgement before immediate digital delivery or service commencement, SteelForge will provide it as required.

The Refund Policy cannot remove or restrict mandatory legal rights.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep SteelForge available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, security incidents, or third-party service disruptions.

We may improve or change features. Where a change materially affects an existing paid service, we will respect any applicable contractual and statutory rights.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate suspected fraud, address serious misuse, or respond to security risks.

Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and any available next steps.

Suspension or termination does not remove rights that have already arisen or mandatory consumer rights.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by law.

For consumers, mandatory statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, SteelForge is not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for failures caused solely by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You should review generated structures before using them in your Minecraft world or any other environment.

14. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in the SteelForge Privacy Policy, available at the Privacy Policy page.

That policy explains how personal information is processed and how privacy requests can be submitted.

16. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under the mandatory laws applicable to you.

Disputes will be handled by the competent court under the applicable legal rules.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or applicable law changes.

The current version and its update date will be published on the website. Where required, we will notify users of material changes.
